  • 2 Hour Studio Hire (min) $220

    Perfect for meetings, networking events, individual content creators, influencers, brands and more.

    Half Day Studio Hire $330

    Need a little more time to get stuck into your project? 4 hours of time in the studio could be running a workshop, presenting your TED Talk, shooting your next season’s launch or rolling up your sleeves for a crafternoon.

    Full Day Studio Hire $660

    Go large with a full day. Starting at 8 hours and extendable on request, the studio is yours to make yourself at home.

  • The studio is staffed from 9am to 5pm, Monday - Friday.

    It is available to hire from 8am - 11pm, 7 days a week.

Studio Safari is a space designed by creators, for creators.

Established by Kate Dyer, a commercial photographer, the studio is located in the historic South Australian German Club building in Adelaide’s CBD.

In its heyday, the main studio area was known as the Hans Heysen Room, named after a legend of Australian art, and was a space with a history of hosting regular chess and knitting groups and bringing people together.

Continuing this spirit of creativity, Studio Safari is available to hire for a range of purposes and is well suited to:

  • courses and training days

  • launch events

  • conferences

  • regular group bookings

Meet Kate

Studio Founder Kate Dyer is a full-time professional photographer, with 17 years of running a creative business under her belt.

After studying Marketing at UniSA, Kate lived and worked in Adelaide, France, Darwin and Melbourne, before returning home to SA in 2019 and bringing with her the inspiration for a dedicated space to create.

Studio Safari is the realisation of a five-year dream and is an adventure in chasing your dreams and sharing your inspiration.

The studio is centrally located in Adelaide’s CBD, east of Frome Street. Nearby landmarks include Christian Brothers College on the southern side of Ifould Street, WOTSO Co-Working Space and Pogo Coffee Roasters/Cafe next door.

Car Parking

Car Parking

Entry is on Flinders Street, under the Christian Brothers College rooftop sports fields. Book online with a credit/debit card and then use that card as the entry ticket. Exit via a pedestrian gate at the rear of the carpark, on Ifould St, and then you’re right next to the studio entry.

There is 2H free and ticketed parking around the studio on Ifould, Frome, Wakefield and Flinders Streets. For visits over 2 hours, we recommend booking your parking in advance at Wilson Parking, next door at 229 Flinders Street (CBC).
